• UGC-INFONET User Awareness Programme to Access E-Journals and Databases was organized in S.V.U.Libary and it was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor Prof.S.Jayarama Reddy on 24th October, 2005. The Staff of UGC-INFLIBNET acted as Resource Persons.
• UGC-INFONET User Awareness Programme to Access Biological Abstracts was organised by S.V.U.Library and it was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor Prof.S.Jayarama Reddy on 8th February, 2006. The Staff of Informatics India Ltd., Bangalore, acted as Resource Persons.
• FOUR Training Programmes on Library Automation Software to Library Professional Staff during 12th to 17th February, 2007; 10th to 15th July, 2007; 21st to 27th October 2007 and 23rd to 24th August, 2008.
• Twelve Practical Training classes in accessing Internet Resources, E-Journals and Databases to the participants of Refresher and Orientation Courses conducted by SVU Academic Staff College.
• The Professional Staff working in SVU Library were trained in DOS, CDS/ISIS, and ILMS for one week in November, 1996. The Staff of UGC-INFLIBNET acted as Resource Persons.
• General User Education Programmes for students are conducted in the beginning of Every Academic Year.
