Library Services
SV University library is a participating member of UGC INFONET Programme. Under this programme, the V-Sat facility to have access to Internet is installed in SVU Computer Centre. The INFLIBNET has provided 1 Gbps connectivity to S.V. University. Through this it’s getting about 15000+ E-Journals and other E-Resources. In order to provide access to Full Text E-Journals and Databases available under UGC-INFONET E-Shodh Sindhu Programme Library has established a Digital Library with a provision to accommodate 40 users at a time.
Library Committee
SVU Library has Library Committee. The committee generally advises the librarian in the matters relating to various aspects of the library. The main functions of the library committee includes suggesting policies and procedures to be followed pertaining to various aspects of the library, framing library rules, approval of terms and conditions for the supply of reading materials, allocation of budget, approval of list of periodicals to be purchased. The tenure of the library committee is one year. Member will be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor. The library committee consists with the following members.

User Awareness Service
The librarian interacts in an informal way with users and explaians them about the services offered by the various sections in the library. This will help the users and also saves time.
